Judy Newman is a Champion of Children

Judy Newman has my vote for Eugene 4J School Board. As a founder of Birth To Three/Parenting Now, I worked on community projects with Judy Newman for many years. Judy has always had a fierce commitment to social justice…advocating and working to make life better for children with disabilities, children with little resources and so many others, to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be successful in school and in life. Judy has run a large public education organization, working respectfully and effectively with children, parents, teachers, and the community, to accomplish change. Her expertise has been sought by the Oregon Legislature every session for the past 20 years. Judy has made an enormous difference in the lives of many thousands of children and their families in Oregon. That is why Parenting Now selected Judy as the recipient of their highest honor, The Champion of Children Award.
